I had been watching the kid for several minutes on the security screen behind the counter. It had caught my attention when they appeared to be checking to see if I saw them.
After I mopped away the tears, and before I started writing my comment, I checked and yes, it is fiction, but... the trouble is that it’s based on fact. So many struggling people in this world. I really wish we could help and share and love and accept. Way too much hatred and division. Let’s just do what we can eh? To swing things a little the other way. Thanks so much. A really good read.
